Photocatalytic Overall Water Splitting over MIL‐125(Ti) upon CoPi and Pt Co‐catalyst Deposition
Photocatalytic overall water splitting is realized by taking advantage of the semiconductive and porous properties of MIL-125(Ti). CoPi and Pt are deposited into MIL-125(Ti) in two steps. The co-catalysts CoPi and Pt not only act as reactive sites for oxygen and hydrogen evolution, respectively, but also improve the photogenerated charge separation efficiency. The above conclusions are supporte...
متن کاملAmmonia synthesis over Co-Mo alloy nanoparticle catalyst prepared via sodium naphthalenide-driven reduction.
We report the synthesis of Co-Mo alloy nanoparticles with a uniform distribution of the alloy elements on CeO2via sodium naphthalenide-driven reduction. The resulting sample functions as a highly efficient and stable catalyst for ammonia synthesis. Based on the metal weight, the catalytic activity is ca. 20 times higher than that of Co3Mo3N.
متن کاملCu0.15Ce0.85O2-y Mixed Oxide Catalyst Prepared by Co-precipitation Synthesis
The use of CeO2 and CeO2-containing materials as a component of heterogeneous industrial catalysts or as a support for transition metals is based on superior chemical and physical stability, high oxygen mobility and high oxygen vacancy concentrations, which are characteristic for the fluorite-type oxides (economically and technologically most important application is the use of ceria in the thr...
متن کاملEfficiency of Electrocoagulation for Removal of Reactive Yellow 14 from Aqueous Environments
Background & Aims of the Study: Discharge of textile industry colored wastewater without enough treatment into natural water resources cause serious pollution. Most of the conventional wastewater treatment methods are not effective enough to remove these dyes from wastewater. In this study, efficiency of electrocoagulation process with iron electrodes for treatment of Reactive Yellow 14 dye...
متن کاملGrowth of CNTs over Fe–Co/Nanometric TiO2 Catalyst by CVD: The Effects of Catalyst Composition and Growth Temperature
In this research carbon nanotubes were produced by chemical vapor deposition of acetylene over a mixture of iron and cobalt catalysts supported on nanometric TiO2 and the influences of two synthesis parameters: growth temperature and catalyst composition ratio on properties of end-product carbon nanotubes were investigated. The catalytic basis was prepared by wet impregnation ...
